Monday, July 16th: The best things in life ARE free … hugs and love. Today is GLOBAL HUG YOUR KIDS DAY. This celebration encourages every mother and father around the world to hug their children every day. Hug your kids every chance you get. Otherwise you’ll blink and they’ll be grown up raising their own families and having their own life. Now I have to go toArizona to “hug my kids”. Hug them today, and everyday, while you have the chance!
Global Hug Your Kids Day was founded in 2008 by Michelle Nichols, a 25-year sales veteran and longtime Business Week columnist. Her son, Mark, died suddenly at 8 1/2 years old from brain cancer in 1998.
